VIRGINIA GAY
Virginia is currently filming the second series of the Network 7 success Winners & Losers. She also performed her one woman cabaret show titled “Dirty Pretty Songs” selling out The Famous Spiegletent. Early in 2010, she completed a six month tour with the Sydney Theatre Company’s Wharf Revue Pennies From Kevin, where she polished her impression of Prime Minister, Julia Gillard. Prior to that, she spent three and a half years playing Nursing Unit Manager, Gabrielle Jaeger, in All Saints for the Seven Network. She also took part in the Seven Network’s It Takes Two, where she reached the semi finals.
Virginia has was awarded the Coles Myer Vocational Student of the Year (WA), the Sangora Education Foundation Award, and a DIVA for Best Show 2009, for her Cabaret Gentlemen Prefer Blokes.
She graduated from WAAPA in 2005.
Prior to being accepted into WAAPA, she studied at Sydney University where she attained a B.A. in English Literature and Performance Studies.

Virginia hosted the Erotic Fan Fiction nights for the Sydney Writer’s Festival, 2009, and regularly plays Theatresports and Longform Impro at the Roxbury.
Virginia has extensive experience as an MC and has made appearances on Good News Week, and Out of the Question.
She sings jazz, blues, musical theatre at a professional level. She is proficient in the Piano, Ukelele and the Trombone.
