Xanthe is a Sydney-based Costume Designer for film, television and theatre.
Xanthe’s is currently designing costumes for the Mini Series Devils Dust. Other recent credits include the feature film 33 Postcards (director Pauline Chan) , the second series of My Place and the new ABC drama series The Straits (both produced by Matchbox) . Credits in recent years include costume designing for the feature film The Loved Ones (winner of the Toronto Film Festival – People’s Choice Award, Midnight Madness Program) and the critically acclaimed doco-drama The Last Confession of Alexander Pearce, directed by Michael James Rowland. Xanthe costume designed the 6-part ABC comedy series I Rock and Rene Hernandez’s highly recognised feature film The Ground Beneath.
In 2006/7 she costume designed all 13 Bit of Black Business shorts produced by Kath Shelper. After graduating from NIDA’s Design Degree, Xanthe worked in film and TV wardrobe departments including: The Square, Disgrace, Two Twisted, Footy Legends, 48 Shadows of Brown and The Silence.
In 2004 Xanthe was Art Director of Tropfest winning short film The Money and Art Director and Costume Designer of the Tropfest Ford and promotional short Goodbye Tom. She also has extensive theatre credits.
