Emma Freeman

Emma has been working as a director in television, film and music videos for 10 years. In 2015 Emma was the sole director of Matchbox Pictures’ six-part supernatural drama Glitch, for which she won an ADG award for Best Direction. She worked with Matchbox again on the political-thriller Secret City.

In 2010 Emma was nominated for AFI Awards (Best Direction in Television) for Tangle and the telemovie Hawke, for which she won the award. Hawke was also nominated for a LogieĀ for Most Outstanding Telemovie and won the ADG award for Best Direction in a Telemovie.

Other credits include Offspring, Tangle, Puberty Blues, Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries, Hawke (telemovie), Love My Way and Party Tricks.
