Format: Electronic submissions only – NO ATTACHMENTS.
Address: submissions@cameronsmanagement.com.au
Content: Query letter + synopsis + the first 3000 words (approx) of the manuscript in the body of an email message.
We will endeavour to respond to your submission within eight weeks. If you haven’t heard back from us within twelve weeks, please resubmit. We do not require that you submit to us exclusively i.e. you may submit to other agents at the same time.
Some tips before you submit:
- Do not send in the first draft of anything. First drafts are never final drafts, so it’s advisable to redraft at least once before submitting to agents.
- Especially do not send in the first draft of anything if you just finished it a couple of hours before sending the submission.
- You only have one chance to submit each manuscript and we receive a lot of submissions, so try to make your manuscript the best it can possibly be.
- If you feel any doubt about the strength of your manuscript, wait and look at it again in a few weeks’ time.
